
This image of a Marsh Harrier was taken at Elmley NNR where a pair were observed collecting nesting material and also hunting for Brown Hares. Marsh harriers are mainly found in eastern and south-east England, They are a medium-sized raptor and the largest and broadest-winged harriers. Most of them are associated with marshland and dense reedbeds.
