House Martin in the nest was taken from an upper window below the eves of a house in Witham, Essex. This bird is quite a mature juvenile but the parent birds maintained regular visits with food for their young. There were a total of three birds that fledged. House Martins spend much of the time on the wing collecting insect prey. around water and fields The bird's mud nest is usually sited below the eaves of buildings. They are summer migrants and spend their winters in Africa.
