This image of a pair of Gannets was taken a Bempton cliffs in Yorkshire. They were perched amongst thousands of other sea birds that were nesting or preparing to nest. This area, together with the cliffs at Flamborough, a little further south, is a spectacular site for viewing nesting sea birds in the Summer from July onward. Other birds that can be seen nesting at Bempton include Atlantic Puffin, Guillimot, Razorbill and a variety of gulls.
